Description

Tabby and white, with a distinctive brown mark on the end of his nose. He was wearing a fluorescent green collar with reflective stars and cats on it, a green bell and moon and cat charm hanging from it. He is 14 and half years old but looks younger, he is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. He is very friendly with people and other animals but may be skittish at this point if he’s scared. He’s an indoor cat, he is 14 and a half years old and he was asleep next to myself and my partner in bed and when we woke up he was gone. He escaped completely by mishap through an open window at 4:05am on 08/04/2026.

**OBERON IS STILL MISSING IN HOYLAND IN BARNSLEY - THERE IS A £100 REWARD FOR HIS SAFE RETURN!** It’s now been 5 weeks… 5 weeks since we last saw my special little man, 5 weeks since part of my heart and soul disappeared into the night by mishap. I’m so unbelievably broken. **Please check sheds, garages and outbuildings. He's good with dogs, other cats and people, he’s very friendly, but could be skittish if he’s scared, which I imagine right now he is after being gone for 5 weeks.** He is wearing a fluorescent green collar with reflective cats and stars on it. It also has a gold and black charm of moon with a cat sat on it and a green bell hanging from the collar. Although the collar, bell and charm may have fallen off by now. Please DO NOT feed him. He is food motivated and if you feed him he won’t come home. He is also an elderly cat with dietary restrictions. We have driven around at all hours, walked around at all hours, put up hundreds of posters and put them through doors, we have knocked on so many doors, talked to people in the streets and in businesses, checked the sides of roads, checked fields and hedges, checked green spaces, checked from above with a drone, my partner has a walked the full length of dearne valley parkway twice completely on foot, we've shook treats, shouted his name, put his bedding out, put his toys out, watched the cameras and humane trap religiously and nothing. We've had a few sightings but it never turns out to be Oberon. I'm so exhausted from crying, nightmares, horrid prank calls from teenagers and working full time all whilst this is going on. I just want my boy home. If you have taken him in and have grown attached to him, I understand, he is the sweetest boy ever, but please please please give him back, I know he’s lovely, I’ve been having cuddles with him since he was 2 weeks old, but he isn’t yours to keep, he has a loving home and a mum that misses him and is experiencing a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone. He is 14 and a half years old and I was supposed to have a few more years with him yet, the vet gave him a clean bill of health on the 2nd of April and told me we had many more wonderful years together yet… I didn’t even get to say goodbye before he vanished. I kissed him goodnight, told him I loved him and “you are my special little man” and he curled up next to me in bed and we went to sleep… And then I woke up for work and he wasn’t there. I tore the hse apart and then saw the camera footage of him down the side of the hse. That is the last video I have of him, him disappearing into the night. I miss you so much Oberon, my heart is broken, please come back to me 😞💔🐾 If anyone has any information, has Oberon in their home or has seen him please contact myself or Joshua Walls 🖤
