~~Give a copy of the picture with information to the mailman in the area… They encounter many people & situation… Put a sign with information & picture in your front yard if you can & @ stop signs… For found animals Please take him to check for a microchip it’s free @ any Vet,Pet store etc. … Always get your animal microchipped, it gives a better chance of being reunited… There is always the possibility that a neighbor may have taken your “Fur~Baby” in thinking it was abandoned… Report any animal missing or found to your local dog pound… PetCo has free software that uses photo recognition to match your photo to photos from rescues and shelters.

Charlotte Rodriguez Agreed and ppl really need to stop pushing to take these furbabies to the shelter they are not helping the Furbaby nor are the helping the overcrowding at the shelter which is adding to the euthanizing of so many of these furbabies. When someone is willing to foster while looking for the owner plz stop telling them to take to shelters. You are absolutely correct with what you said it IS Legal for ppl that have found a furbaby to foster him/her while attempting to find the owner. By notifying the shelter you found one, putting it on pawboost and making other attempts to located the owner including scanning for a chip you're doing MORE than the shelters do to help find the owner

Mike Kleid shelters are over capacity and overwhelmed! Euthanizing for space. Finder can report as found and foster that guy post for owner to be found as they are doing and it’s legal! Shelters support it and fostering saves lives.

Please bring to shelter or advise them you have dog, owners will be checking there daily and they might not have facebook...ty for watching out.
