Spotted Bengal cat roaming around Thurman White Middle School and Whitney Ranch Rec Center around 7:10am on 08/13. Was trying to see if it would approach but got scared by kids trying to run up to it.

Diane Kalnitz unfortunately we can't go around just trapping people's hybrid cats unless it's showing signs of distress, sickness, or injury. That kitty looks perfectly healthy, and sadly, the owners probably let it free roam. They shouldn't, but what can we do, nothing according to the law. It's shared on our Rescue wall. If people could share our Rescue wall to people who report their hybrids missing, it would give them a place to look for their missing babies when posted as found. Unfortunately, that looks to be someones free roaming cat, and it's perfectly healthy looking. Learned from bad experience that we can't go trap it unless it's hurt or looks in really bad condition.
