Orange Tabby

Message from Owner

We last saw Duncan on Thursday, March 26th. We have been feeding Duncan and his brother, Egg, for about a year now. Egg is also an orange tabby but a little smaller. I trapped both of them and had them neutered and we’ve spent a lot of time building trust with them. They are a bonded pair and Egg has been going all over the neighborhood looking for Duncan. Duncan has gained weight since this picture was taken. Both of his ears are a little mangled where he probably got into fights living on the street.

This male kitty has been coming to eat on my back deck where I feed the neighborhood strays. I live near Augusta Country Club.

Donna Kitchings Price thank you for having him neutered. If you haven't already, put up flyers everywhere as many people aren't on social media. Give flyers to every vet clinic, rescue, and shelter in the area in case he turns up. Ask your neighbors to check their cameras, garages, sheds, and crawlspaces. Ask them all if they had any visitors or contractors doing work on their houses around the time he went missing. If so, call the visitors and businesses and ask them if they had an accidental stowaway. Look up in trees in case he was chased. Walk the neighborhood in the wee hours with a flashlight and look for glowing eyes. Call him in a regular voice (not panicked) and gently shake a treat bag if he likes that kind of stuff. If he's injured or scared, he's probably hunkered down and hiding, but he may not answer you when you call - that's just instinctual, as a vocal cat gives away their location to predators, and an injured cat is prey. When he comes home, please get him microchipped and be sure to register the chip online. If your yard is fenced in, you might consider putting up cat-fencing or coyote rollers on top of the fence to keep him (and his brother) safely in your yard (both can be DIY). Good luck ❤️

Hi, he is not microchipped. He’s outdoor only.

Hi, I’m posting for my daughter because she doesn’t have a FB. This is a better and more recent photo of Duncan.

Is he microchipped? Outdoor only, or indoor/outdoor?
