Hondo is Missing in Dry Prong, LA

Description

Flashy, darker fawn in color. About knee high. Has a very distinctive birth mark, if you can call it that. He has a one long closer to his front leg, almost the size of a small pinky finger about an inch long. And a small flick of white hair on the back of his neck, at a 45 degree angle as wide as your thumbnail and thin. If you’re not looking for it you will miss it.

Hondo is a big sweetie he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. My son and I miss him dearly. This is only the second dog he’s ever had in his life. His 1st boxer was with him for the 1st 8 years of his life and Hondo has his been here the last 6. No matter my objections lol in my sons 14 years he, has not spent one night when he hasn’t had a furry, snoring fart machine snuggled tightly keeping him safe! Needless to say we are both worried about our big sweetie. He likes to visit my neighbors, I get phone calls and text messages all the time if he misses coffee or snack time with those neighbors. He’s well liked and loved by all. I keep expecting him to walk up to my chair and plop his head down and start talking to me until I scratch behind his ears. Or wait till I have my feet on my autumn so he can jump up and keep them warm. Or run in the door hit his food and water bowl, then crash out on his bed snoring and farting for a few hours, until he wakes himself up lol He likes to lay on my sons bed while he’s playing guitar and try and work his head in his lap lol. I firmly believe he was taken. Otherwise he would not miss supper time or meeting my son as he gets off the bus. So if you picked Hondo up, (possibly thinking you were doing a good deed) or had larceny in your heart, please just return him to where you found him. I do live in the country and have a close nit group of neighbors so he will come if dropped off. I know this is a long post but Hondo is part of the family and we miss him, especially my son.
