Tan hound with floppy hound ears and some white on chest and throat. 3 years old, weighs about 58 pounds, not wearing a collar but she IS microchipped.

PLEASE contact me if you see her She’s never run away before in 1 1/2 years and NEVER missed supper! Her dog sister is missing her terribly and we’re very worried about her :(

Candi Mehary I asked all the shelters if they do a full body scan and they do. One person at the Burleson shelter told me that sometimes the older chips would migrate, but the newer ones are coated with a material that prevents that. She was only chipped 2 years ago, so I’m not worrying anymore about her chip being missed.

Sarah Niece this is assuming they do a full body chip scan. Microchips can travel with time and can easily be missed. Email or send via fb her picture to as many area rescues you can.
