UPDATE ON MY FURBABY ( NUTNUT) THANK YOU SWEET JESUS HE HAS BEEN FOUND. HE CAME BACK HOME ON HIS OWN @5:30 THE NEXT MORNING. PRAISE GOD HE IS HOME

MaryAnn Bonello Hebert Yes ,he has been found thank God and I seen where you had said in the beginning of your comment that he isn't a service dog.Well ma'am he definitely is my service dog .he is actually called my (emotional support animal) as to where if I'm in public and my anxiety acts up he will snuggle up to me and love on me and that calms me anxiety, and if I'm crying he will come to me and try to get me to play with him to get my mind off of what ever it is that I'm crying about.and if I fall he will go to the front door of my apartment and bark until my neighbor comes over to see what's wrong. My neighbors are aware of my medical situation,so they keep a close eye on me. But thank you for praying for him to be found and he was inside when he sneaked out the door when I wasn't looking.i was in the middle of cleaning my apartment an I had the front door open and that's how he got out.. THIS WAS A FIRST TIME THING HE HAS NEVER EVER DONE THAT BEFORE.BUT THANK GOD HE IS BACK HOME.

IMMEDIATELY CHECK ALL SMALL SPACES!! Under houses, in sheds, in culverts, wells, every small space! Go to the shelter IN PERSON, at least every other day. They are required to hold strays for only 3 days if there is no chip. IMMEDIATELY cut several smelly socks into strips and hang everywhere outside. Lost dog experts also highly recommend putting the dog's bedding outside. Create flyers, give to the mailperson, sanitation workers, vets, shelters, pin to bulletin boards at groc stores, tape to bus stops, etc. Also, highly recommend posting to as many lost pet sites as possible. Here are some, starting with the best: HELPINGLOSTPETS.COM, FIDOFINDER.COM, PETAMBERALERT.COM, CRITTERALERT.COM, LOSTMYDOGGIE.COM,, PAWMAW.COM, FOUNDLOSTDOGS.COM, ILOVEPETS.COM, MYLOSTPETALERT.COM, PETCOLOVE.COM, Helping Lost Pets (HeLP) HELPINGLOSTPETS.COM VERY IMPORTANT!!! Post to NEXTDOOR.COM & CRAIGSLIST.COM - many reunited in these free sites. Obtain a 'Live Trap', place near where missing, but away from roads, and in shade. Put smelly dog bedding or owner's smelly socks inside, & put water to drink. USE HASHTAGS - ex: #dachshund #chihuahua #chiweenie, etc. It will increase the odds of a reunion.
