Diane Murray thank so much for all of this advice! He is on Pawboost/ Nextdoor / I did go door to door, and heard of 3 sightings the day he went missing. So that's hopeful. I think I'll try a tracker too. I put water and his bowl out along with his bed on the porch. I figured he'd be home by now, he was a street dog before he came to live with us.

Jodi Plew Sorry to hear this. Hang a piece of family bedding or clothing out so the breeze/wind will carry the scent and hopefully lead him home. Check your home, neighbors, businesses for crawlspaces, sheds, garages in case he’s hiding, sought a cool place, or trapped and cannot get out. Check with Animal Control often in case someone has turned him in. Post fliers and on Next Door App also. Good luck.

Diane Murray yes. 😔 He had to go outside and I had another dog out back so I took him to the front, I was distracted by andmy cats, so I went to check on them midway opening the door, so I thought I closed it, but when I came back, Scruffy was gone and the door was cracked open. It was so quick... there were 3 sightings of him yesterday. I drove everywhere with a lovely neighbor, and walked on foot last night. Poor guy. I hope someone just has not seen my posts.
