Please place his bedding outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing front and back door with a can of tuna on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Also vacuumed home dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home enterence . Show your neighbors a picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call immediately. Go early in the morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. To the owner of Biscuit i have shared for you keep checking on the Es Groups for updates look on community pages check with all vets in the area/surrounding areas check with Pippas Army keep a check on these selling sites each day as chipped/unchipped cats are advertised on them Pets4homes,Gumtree,Freeads,Preloved,Trovit,UK Pets,Petify i hope Biscuit isnt on any & will be home soon also keep a check on Tabby/Tabby and white uk cat group where i have shared to

Here are some things to try and help find a lost cat. If Indoor - cats do not go far and often hide down low and close by. If Outdoor and neutered - Scared/Spooked cats also usually hide close by so call throughout the night from dusk to dawn shaking treats or take warmed up food as the smell travels further and cats will often try to return home between 1am - 4am when its dark/safe and quiet. Take a torch out searching as it will reflect their eyes. Also search right in the thick of bushes as cats are masters at hiding if theyve been hurt. Do knock on all the doors in the surrounding area asking people to check their gardens/under bushes/sheds/garages. If no joy then print posters to put through doors with photo on and asking people to check their gardens/outbuildings as not everyone is on social media so some folk wont know to check and cats may be hiding or stuck in somewhere. I hope your cat is home asap 🙏

🐈When you go searching always take a Torch as that will reflect the cats eyes in dark places. go searching late and early when its quiet, (dusk and dawn)shake treats, call and listen and wait , cats need time to respond, call when walking towards home, Use a gentle, reassuring voice when searching and calling for your cat. If you are yelling and sound angry or frightened, your cat will feel threatened coming out of hiding. 🐾Look up Trees/roof tops, empty houses, church yards, cellars, sheds/garages 🐈Look In hedges, bushes, bramble, ditches 🐾A red Bulb torch should be used for hedge searching at night. They will move away from a standard torch or close their eyes 🐈Search Under decking and under sheds garages,under floorboards , tarpaulins , behind meter box, any container units, Inside Bottle/clothes Banks Units 🐾Behind bins and under cars in case injured 🐈Down any steep embankments, rabbit holes, ponds, drains, water butts 🐾Gaps In between fences and buildings, empty properties / disused warehouses ,allotments 🐈Ask people to leave sheds garages open a while to give a trapped cat time to esc as they wont just run out, they hide in fear 🐾Also look where you hear cats howling(fighting) 🐈When searching in bushes etc,get down to cat level as its easier to see them or use walking sticks upside down for ease, using the L ....shaped handle ....for moving bushes aside to gently search 🐾Put posters up and leaflet houses 🐈Check any CCTV and ask neighbors to check also, see if he was picked up or got in a vehicle 🐾Put familiar smells out, cat toys, blanket, empty hoover contents in garden, Open the windows of your house and get the house smells outside. 🐈Hang your used unwashed bed sheets out, t shirts, smelly socks 🐾Make sure there is a way for your cat to get back in your house, even when you are asleep, maybe wedge open the cat flap, or leave a window open 🐈Ask postman to keep a look out, let him have a leaflet, they go to most houses daily 🐾Contact all vets in the area, the local council, cat rescues and microchip company to let them know and flag them up as missing Also put them on:- http://NextDoor.co.uk
