He is very timid and scares easily but can be lured with food usually. He has only been an indoor cat his entire life and doesn't know much about his surroundings outside of the apmt.

Look up in trees if he’s scared he may climb. Go out at night with a good flashlight and look for your kitty’s eyes. Under porches, in outbuildings, up in trees v, under bushes too. Call him softly so he won’t think you are mad at him. Leave your door or doors open. Especially, stay up late and leave them Open but during the day too if you are home. If he’s hiding close by he may run in! My daughter’s cat did that after 12 days! She was hiding under the hot tub. If you live in a home, it may go under your house if there’s any openings. Put a piece of your clothing out also that you’ve worn and it has your smell on it. My kitty is indoor only too. Looks so much like yours. I pray you get your kitty back soon.🙏❤️ Have you contacted all your neighbors? Given them your number? In a 5 block radius please. There’s so much more you can do. Check with Greenhill to see if someone has brought him there. Report your kitty to them as missing just in case. Google other tips and/ or YouTube has tips too I understand. 🙏🙏🙏❤️

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NO LITTER BOX OR FOOD. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Cute cat. Is he neutered? Post him on Greenhill lost and found web site and Next door site. Quality playtime with you and wand toys alleviates boredom and gets him exercised ( running, jumping, chasing "prey"). Best wishes.

YouTube video How to find a lost cat. Great video to check out. Hope you find your fur baby soon! https://youtu.be/g2eCoC63B9I?si=MGpFvivhqvvZ2yr2 One of our indoor cats recently escaped. So we secured all our other cats in different rooms and left the front door open ( it was the one she escaped from). When it started getting dark and quiet out she came right back in the door. I had heard of others being successful doing this and thought it was worth a try, and luckily it worked!!
