Just came here to bump this and say! My cat has been missing since Sunday. And the scammers have been intense. Please be wary- my friends have been the only ones clear headed enough to keep me from getting scammed. Last night I got a call from ppl who pretended to be with the humane society. They claimed my cat was brought in and needed emergency surgery, and sent me an AI generated photo of him on an operating table, sedated, with his shoulder cut open and tubes and blood. They wanted money and hung up on us when we said we’d be right there and pay in person. I hope so much you don’t deal with any of this, and ur baby returns home soon!
