Description

Ramy is a Blue Tabby domestic short hair grayish color/with stripes. He has big beautiful yellow eyes. He weighs about 14 to 15 pounds. Nothing is the same without my big baby boy…every night when I come from work, he always waits for me in front of the driveway and I give him a little treat // and now he’s gone! I ask myself, who took him away from me?

Message from Owner

Ramy is very affectionate, sweet, tender, lovable cat! I’m afraid that someone will hurt him, he’s probably frighten because he’s not in his environment nor at with his family. Who ever has him, please return him to me—I missed him so much…the hse feels empty without him!

So sorry Ramy is not home yet. I’m really happy to see that you have not given up on finding your kitty. I know it’s gotta be so difficult. Here are my tips. I hope something helps you. You can still keep hope. Lost Cats Please also watch video link at end about how cats go missing and how they hide. If you can, leave a door or window cracked open, or garage in case kitty comes back. Cats may return on their own. Put some items with your scent outside- you’re dirty sheets or unwashed, laundry. Can of cat food or tuna fish and water. Put a trail of cat treats to your door. Place your kitty's bed, cat tree & litter box outside. Indoor cats that get out are usually no further than 3 houses away. Watch video which shows his they hide. Ask neighbors if you can look for your cat on their property such as garage is, sheds, or backyards and ask them to keep a lookout in these places. Ask your neighbors to check their Ring app which you know shows videos of what people’s cameras have seen. Make flyers with your cat picture and information and your contact info and put at all your neighbors doors/ talk to them in person so they know your cat is missing. Sometimes cats will try to come back inside very late when it's dark and quiet when they feel it's safe to come out. Cats generally stay close by, so look under bushes, cars, up trees. Most indoor cats go into survival mode and hide. Most will not respond when in "survival mode." Call your cat's name softly, listen for a meow, and look for kitty’s eyes reflection with a flashlight. They still may not come out if they hear your voice softly since they are hiding and scared. Best time is the middle of the night/ super early morning. File a lost pet report with the Humane Society. Check daily online for found stray cats photos on the San Diego Humane Society's website. - [ ] Post on sites: - [ ] Next door - [ ] Pawboost - [ ] Lost & Found Pets of San Diego, CA - [ ] Santee, CA Todays News and Information - [ ] lostmykitty.com You can try to contact Babs fry, she is a recovery specialist who did donate her time for free in the search for lost pets: 619-249-2221. Or cat expert Debby at 619-760-613-9514. She’s an expert at helping find lost cats. Post lots of LARGE FLYERS with BIG WRITING- cat pic and your contact info in many places. Put a “Lost Cat” sign on your property. Ask your neighbors. Hope you find your kitty soon. 😻 The unwashed clothing seems to really get them home. Another cat was found underneath a nearby car. Hope these tips work for you. Great video with tips to search for lost indoor cats!!! https://www.facebook.com/FrontStreetAnimalShelter/videos/388310901737884/ Scammers—-please be aware of scammers saying they have found your pet or it’s in the hospital and they need money or posting AI pictures of your pet looking on your profile. I saw in someone else’s post that this has happened to multiple people. One person was told they found their cat and it was at a vet needed $3000 worth of work and they almost paid it. Scammers are praying on desperate pet owners wanting to find their fur babies. Good luck! 💕

Have you checked all shelters in the county? Animals get moved to different shelters.
