Description

Message from Owner

If Blackie is still alive he is probably looking a lot skinnier than he looks in this photo. Trappers often dump cats in feral cat colonies so if anyone has noted a new black cat that showed up at a colony on or after Feb. 6th, it just might be him! Please help us find Blackie!

If the cat's ear was already tipped before they trapped it it is illegal that is part of the TNR program at animal care and control offers the cat is trapped spayed neutered microchipped vaccinated and re-released to the same exact area it was trapped so if this owners cat was trapped at her location then it would have to be re-released to that same location I just went through this two weeks ago so there is no reason for them to pick up a cat or trap a cat whose ear is already tipped and relocate it and then refuse to give information why would you want to take a cat from an area where it's being fed and taken care of to drop it off somewhere where it's not going to be fed or cared for her to fend for itself there's no logic to this whatsoever

Krystle Blair I’m doing this because less than a month ago I had a close friend of mine who’s a small business owner also name bashed, wrongfully accused, and had a smear campaign on social media against her company. The negative reviews and ratings were devastating to her already struggling business and she had no choice but to lay off her employees and permanently close her business. This is an extremely hard time to be a small business owner. The last thing I want to see is another person lose everything that they spent their life working to build due to false accusations and false negative reviews/ratings.

Ellen Rose Sespaniak And you have spoken to them directly about this situation? You're going a little too far for friends.... For some reason (and I could be wrong) I feel like you are a part of this or know more than you act like you do...

Ellen Rose Sespaniak you are seriously doing too much for only being a friend of the owner... Have you personally reached out to them and gotten their side?

Krystle Blair All I will say is that they follow the proper protocols and ordinances. They would have everything to lose and nothing to gain from not following them. Right now they are under investigation by the ACC due to here-say allegations that Blackie’s owner has been told by their neighbor that have now been twisted into false allegations and rumors name-bashing them which has been shared and spread like wildfire all over social media. If the ACC determines they are at fault and they are in fact guilty of wrongdoing on their part then it would be completely understandable to name drop them or any company in this situation to share this information and warn the community - but right now it’s all here-say. False rumors and accusations such as this is ruining their good reputation that they’ve worked so hard to achieve and something like this could be detrimental to their company or any company in a similar situation. Guilty or not guilty - encouraging people who are non-customers to leave negative reviews about any company’s service is just plain wrong. There have been a few other people that have gone above and beyond just their Facebook page and they now have literally been telling people to post negative reviews and comments all over their website, fb page, Yelp, Google, etc. and now a bunch of strangers are giving them negative reviews about their service who were never even a customer in the first place. It’s an extremely hard time to be a small business owner right now regardless of industry - and they certainly don’t have their own PR person like large companies would to help defend themselves. Most of these small businesses heavily rely on positive company ratings and reviews online, many wouldn’t be in business if it weren’t for them. These small business owners are doing everything they can to stay afloat and avoid losing their employees and everything they’ve worked so hard for. Again if they are found to be in the wrong and at fault in this situation then by all means please warn the community. All I’m asking is to please give them - and any company being name-bashed based on here-say/rumors - the benefit of the doubt unless the ACC has completed their investigation due to these social media allegations and have actual proof/evidence of any wrongdoing on their part. In the meantime let’s find and bring blackie back home.
