Description

Message from Owner

If Blackie is still alive he is probably looking a lot skinnier than he looks in this photo. Trappers often dump cats in feral cat colonies so if anyone has noted a new black cat that showed up at a colony on or after Feb. 6th, it just might be him! Please help us find Blackie!

Sally Evans Why would a legitimate licensed animal removal company trap a cat and dump it elsewhere? If this was the situation and a cat was accidentally trapped then they would contact the property owner who hired them and await instruction which would likely be either A. Let the cat go, B. I don’t know where this cat came from please remove it, or C. This is a stray cat that I’ve seen roaming around my property and I want it removed. If the answer was A they would’ve let it go, but if they answered B or C then they would contact ACC and bring it to them. I know the owners of this company and they absolutely would not randomly take this cat - they would contact the property owner who hired them and follow protocols A-C depending on the owners instruction. If they were told to remove the cat they would be contacting the ACC and taking it to them - not a wildlife refuge in loxahatchee. I can’t imagine how painful this must be for her to lose her fur baby, however, they’ve been getting harassed and have been receiving a ton of false negative reviews as a commenter suggested everyone to do. I absolutely 100% feel for this poor woman, and yes the ACC can and will investigate, but in the meantime this is considered defamation and slander towards this company that’s being falsely accused, harassed, criticized and slandered through false negative reviews on social media and online.
