Grey and white 16 year old male. Completely blind with right eye bulging out and the left shrunk. Purrs when scared.

Message from Owner

We adopted this cat from humane society 14 years ago when he was 2 years old. Over the last few years Dymok developed glaucoma and went completely blind beginning of this year. He has been getting around the hse, finding food, using litter box without any issues. Unfortunately he managed to get outside and we’ve been looking for him since July 27. He needs eye drops. Still hoping to find him.

Please set humane traps all over your yard and see if the neighbors will let you set some in their yards. Do this at dusk and keep an eye on the traps all night. Contact the chip company and tell them that he's missing. Also make sure your contact info is up-to-date on their website. Put up flyers everywhere, as many people aren't on social media Ask your neighbors to check their cameras, garages, sheds , and cameras. Walk the neighborhood in the wee hours with a flashlight and look for glowing eyes. Call him in a regular voice (not panicked) and gently shake a treat bag if he likes that kind of stuff. He's probably hunkered down and hiding nearby, but he may not answer you when you call - that's just instinctual, as a vocal cat gives away their location to predators. Put his beds/blankets and some of your dirty clothes on your porches and around the perimeter of your yard. Good luck ❤️
