Angela Silcox Thank you for the info. We took him for a checkup and shots yesterday and will be having him neutered and chipped on Monday. Vet said he’s 8 months old, 50lbs, is mostly lab, and in relatively good shape but hadn’t had a vet visit. At this point we’re pretty sure he was dumped. We will foster him to make sure he finds a great home. He’s a great doggo. Do you know which organization would be best to work with to get him adopted since we’re willing to foster him?

TY for keeping safe till owners are found...if not able please reach out to rescues near you. BARC and Harris county pets shelters will put this sweet baby down. Google big dog rescues like: K-9 Angels Rescue - Houston, TX Rescued Pets Movement Kindred Spirits Dog Rescue Texas Southern Comforts Animal Rescue - TX Three Little Pitties Rescue Here are a few good rescues there are a lot more. They can help find owners if no owners will find a safe loving family. Will keep a lookout for lost post.
