Please be sure to ask all your neighbors to check their garages, sheds, etc. in case your cat got closed inside one!! Key is to keep calmly calling your cat at all hours, especially the wee hours & looking for it, using a flashlight to help see its eyes… Check all around your house inside and out and under everything including greenery & especially in all dark spots… Check high and low! Put some of your cat’s bedding outside for it to smell, hopefully enticing it to head home! Leave a door or a window open enough for your cat to potentially let itself back inside! Try opening some smelly food like tuna (do not serve it in the can!) or rotisserie chicken & shake a food/snacks bag often! And of course, check daily Hitchcock Animal Shelter (Salinas) and SPCA! 🤞🏼
