Annette Brown hard to call for a cat when all the neighborhood cats come. I have tried all that. Posting on here was my last option

Please go on-line ASAP and update the chip information-you may be able to get her home if you do....MAKE SURE to keep scrolling through the FOUND cats on Pawboost....someone, at any moment, could be posting your cat as a "found cat."

Go out early morning or after dark and quietly call your cat....chances are you cat is scared and hiding....pop the top of a cat food can (or anything) when it's very quiet..shake the cat chow bag or treat bag...anything that tells your cat it's safe to come out to Mom or Dad!...take a flashlight also...if your cat doesn't come to you, shine it around to see if it catches it's eyes...under bushes and in the trees. Put a BIG, COLORFUL sign in YOUR yard so people know where your cat belongs if they spot him or her...Put a favorite toy/blanket/your worn clothing on the porch…their sense of smell is phenomenal…ask your neighbors to check sheds, crawl spaces and garages. Register the cat as missing with your local shelter-take a picture with you to post if they have a bulletin board-go there every day or 2 to look for yourself…please don't depend on a phone call. The person you speak to may not be aware that your pet might have been turned in.
