Thank you for helping this fur baby! Here are some guidance steps of additional things to do IF YOU FIND A DOG: • Please contact OC animal shelter to file a found report. They will have you send them a picture of the dog so they can post it on their “Found Dogs” website (THIS IS A MUST). That’s the first place people look for their missing pets and not everyone is on social media. • Take dog to any vet office to scan for a microchip, it’s free. • Post the dog on Nextdoor, Ring and local FB lost & found pages. • Hang “Found” signs within the neighborhood, as not everyone is on social media. • Walk the dog around the neighborhood to see if anyone recognizes him/her and if he/she leads you to its home.
