Message from Owner

Hi, please reach out if you find my pup. I was visiting Toronto for work and I sent my dogs to my family apmt. Theodore (aka Feety) ran out the door and out the building and is lost. I’m absolutely heartbroken and devastated as this was my 6yr old daughters dog that she hand picked and named. We don’t live in Toronto we live near Thamesville Ontario so quiet and open fields. I’m really hoping someone seen him running and picked him up for me. Please help find my pup, he will be 1 on July 1st. He answers to Theodore or Feety, he wasn’t wearing a collar because he’s so small I couldn’t find one his size and where we live he didn’t need it. His appointment was set for October to be chipped so he’s not even chipped yet. He’s full of and loves the world so he would probably go to anyone.

Shared. If you have not already done all these things do them ASAP. If you have, do them again and go further in your search Advise Toronto Animal Services and check their website for found dogs. Also notify local vet offices, dog rescues, shelters (e.g. SPCA) and the microchip company if he's chipped. Post on Toronto and Ontario lost pet site and on lost pets on FB. Dogs will usually try to find their way home but will follow routes through their favourite parks and walks. Since he won't know many routes he will likely follow a walk he's been on. See Pawboost for search and find suggestions and sample posters. Post notices between where he was last seen and the door he left. Also have notices posted where his actual home is and all along the way. Vet offices in those areas should be notified as should all dog rescues and shelters. Post notices in local store windows and on public notice boards as well as notice boards in churches, schools and community centres along any route he might be following. Watch dogs for sale ads on Kijiji and similar sites and notify police if you think he may have been stolen. Beware of scammers and dog thieves who will tell you they found your dog, Be very sure of ID for the dog before/if you contact them and don't offer $$.
