Melissa Bellows Thank you for that information, half my neighbors are saying it's his dog half my neighbors are saying no.. I completely agree with you regarding any dog running loose, if it is indeed his dog it must have been scared by the fireworks.!

Lee Vega- They may have if the dog was microchipped. That's why microchipping is so important. Unfortunately, the shelter is not going to deliver the dog.

Candace Voss The owner would have to go to the shelter with proof of ownership if the dog is not microchipped. They only hold dogs without microchips for 3 days. However, letting a dog run loose isn't a sign of a responsible owner.

Lee Vega- That's kind of why I'm trying to locate someone to either drive the owner or myself up there because I don't like to see an animal put down just because somebody can't make it up to animal control. I'm not sure why the person who found the dog didn't take him to like a shelter that doesn't animals? I don't drive anymore but if I did that man would be up there already..
