Message from Owner

My 19 year old indoor only cat has been missing since the 16th. He has no microchip or collar. He has a recently shaved patch on his backside. we have searched morning and night for him, laid out his litter and also belongings that smell of him. We live in an area with dozens of stray cats that you see immediately when you walk out the door, so we’ve avoided traps as we don’t want to continually trap strays when we’re gone during the day. we have cameras surrounding every area outside our that alert any movement, which last captured my boy on the front porch at midnight the 16th walking away from the . Any help if you’ve seen him is appreciated.

Rudy A. M. Malizia no he has not been found, do you have pictures by chance or would you be able to get some? he’s a darker orange with a white spot on his chest and very fluffy, might have a spot on his back with less hair as we had shaved him days before he escaped.

Has the cat been found. Today is Jan 10 2026. There's a cat like that in my backyard in Heritage Lk. I'm allergic so I didn't get close but it's sweet, quiet and staying in the same area these past two days. Neighbor with cats gave it water.

Mary Hardin-Moore yes good advise. Flashlight search after dark and before sun up... looking in bushes and their eyes will glow when light hits

Distribute flyers to entire neighborhood. Check animal control daily in person- not by phone or online. Leave a flyer with them and humane societies and rescues and vets. Give a flyer to your mailman. Put up a huge sign in front yard for those not on Facebook. Most cats are found within a 3-5 house radius. Best time to look is before dawn and way after dark. You'll need to take a flashlight with you to see reflection in their eyes. Look under bushes, under porches, in/behind sheds. Have neighbors check their sheds. Also have neighbors check their cameras to see which way he went.

I am praying for Mysh and for you. You must be worried sick. Many many years ago, it took me 3 months to find my cat. It was during hurricane Gene. The wind was getting so bad, this older couple left their door open and he ran in. He was pretty far away from us. I also found my neighbors cat that had been missing for a year, while searching the streets for my cat. Please dont give up. I have been and will continue praying for your kitty and you.
