MESSAGE FROM OWNER

Binx is a our big baby. He loves his human parents a LOT and sleeps in the bed with them to be close to both of them. He even takes walks with us. Though he has several adopted cat siblings in the hse, one of them is his REAL sibling. They are very bonded and go everywhere together. They even hold paws while lounging on the couch. His brother is very depressed without him right now, and we've even caught him crying. He isn't eating, because his brother isn't . So please, help us find Binx to bring him with the family that misses him so very much. We know he misses us just as much & is probably very scared and lonely wherever he is. We are praying some good Samaritan has found him and is helping him until they find his owners. Please contact us at or.

DESCRIPTION

Binx is a buff-diluted orange tabby w/orange stripes (they're not dark). He's neutered (vasectomy so may look intact but smaller nads) and microchipped. He's all muscle and weighs around 15-17 lbs. He may be injured &/or skittish(we don't know), but he's very lovable and comes to his name. He may or may not have his reflective collar on. He is food motivated & may come to treats or wet cat food. If caught, please take him to a vet, rescue or shelter to be scanned for a chip or contact me(I have a scanner).

Put flyers on doors of your neighbors and telephone poles. Not just next door and across the street but a radius around your house maybe a couple streets over. Put info, on the Flyers including asking them to look in their sheds under their sheds under their decks or in any place that a cat might get trapped on their property. Talk to your neighbors. STAY SAFE!! You can ask businesses near you to put a sign up or put one by their register. Usually they're very helpful. Check with the Humane Society and other rescues. Also check websites for more kitties. Check with veterinary offices to see if anyone has brought in a kitty that looks like yours. STAY SAFE! A Humane trap is very helpful. It took a friend 2 weeks with a trap but she finally got her cat. I'm praying you find kitty!

A cat's behavior when panicked is hiding in silence. It is a natural form of protection for a cat to find a place to hide under a house, a deck, a porch, bushes, or any place they can crawl. For a sick cat, that could be injured and hiding under a neighbor’s deck, owners might be busy “looking” for their cat and they are busy posting flyers on telephone poles. Instead, for a faster search and one that could bring your cat home sooner, is to conduct an aggressive, physical search of the immediate area while understanding that the cat might be close by but hiding in silence. Using humane traps and/or digital wildlife cameras is the most effective recovery method for finding a missing cat. Other areas would be to check a shed and garage carefully. Also, by putting a Cat house on your porch, with their own blankets inside the pet house and something of your own, or your pillow or socks. Cat nip helps too. Set your camera towards the cat house. 2 cameras would be even better. To show the steps and sidewalk or drive way and the kitty house. The food should be something the cat can smell. Put out dry food and bits of cooked chicken, or other type meats on top. Any scent that would be familiar to your cat will help your cat find its way back
