Update for anyone invested in this the dog is safe and being well taken care of. I do believe it could be a case of the dog having been missing for a while. When I opened my door, the dog went to run out and it made me think. Perhaps it ran out of somebody else’s home. It has received a medicated wash. Its hair has been cut. He received rabies vaccination. He does appear to have some medical issues, heart murmur, possible polyp, or rectal tumor, and a very progressed dental disease. The vet says he is 10 to 13 years old. I do believe it could be the same dog as it is found very close to where this person posted.

I just found a dog that has a purple leash, no collar - no chip no tags and was tied to a different fence in the baychester area- looks similar, grey black and small I’ve taken the dog to the vet and taken the dog in, but if it does come from a loving home and has been wandering for a while and therefore looks this way now, I’d love to reconnect it with its family
