She is a baby, only about 2 months old. Very important to our family, our kids are heartbroken. She got out when the kids went into the backyard and it is a very windy day. Please help us find her. We are worried about her.

Yes. Birds too! WHEN YOU LOSE A PET: Call one of these Animal Protection Services: You will be transferred if the call belongs to another area: 1. Clark County 702-455-7710 2. City of Las Vegas 702-229-6444 then #2 (They often are unable to answer their phone. Ask the dispatcher to take your message and forward it to them.) 3. North Las Vegas (702) 633-9111 Post on Pawboost.com. FREE. Just close out when you come to the “Pay page”. Your post will still go up. Very important: Pawboost offers that you can print Flyers to post around your area. Check your posts often to see that they have not been removed. You also can handprint "lost" flyers around your area. Check often to see that the flyers have not been removed. Make a listing on “Petco Love Lost” for your lost pet. petcolove.org/Upload your missing pet’s picture. Their website uses an AI model that will automatically match other listings that may match the picture of your missing pet . Go daily, in person, to The Animal Foundation: 655 N Mojave Road, Las Vegas, Animal Foundation hours are 11AM-7PM Tuesday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. Call (702) 760-7387 for help! Or: (702) 955-5932 ext. 932 Email: lostandfound@animalfoundation.com - They are understaffed and overburdened. It is best that you go in person to look for your pet. The Animal Foundation is the central clearing house for lost and found pets and is the first facility to which the Owner will be directed to search for their pet. The Pet Owner has 72 hours to collect their pet at The Animal Foundation before the pet will be placed for adoption.

Posted in Lost and Found birds of the US https://m.facebook.com/groups/637611853061306/permalink/3537053069783822/?mibextid=Nif5oz To Phoenix’s owner: We are so sorry to hear your bird is missing. Here are some ideas to assist in your search. *Create a post on Pawboost, NextDoor & Ring, if you haven’t already. *During the daytime: use a wireless Bluetooth speaker to broadcast flock calls or your voice, shake treat bags or anything that might attract attention to food, put the cage out where it can be seen. *During the evening when searching is over, design & print off flyers with photo & contact information. These can be encased in a ziplock to keep weatherproof & posted in areas where allowed like parks, poles & any nearby gathering areas. Also drop off some at vet clinics, pet supply stores, anything within a 5 mile radius. Contact local shelters/rescues & even the police dept - they do pick up found/stray pets all the time. Make sure the world knows - neighbors esp ones that have bird feeders/baths/pools. Hand them out while searching the area. Join every local social media group there is. Run an ad in your local newspaper - some run one for free in lost & found (or cheap). Also check with local bird watcher groups - they’re always out & about. Flyers cannot be placed in mailboxes. *PLEASE CHECK WITH LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTERS & FILE A MISSING PET REPORT*

Posted on group Parrot Parakeet BIRD Lost & Found Las Vegas https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DhtxsWotX/ Shared to Facebook LOCAL Pets Lost and Found Groups, Bird Lost & Found Groups. We are so sorry to hear your Bird is missing. We would like to provide a few steps to follow that will help in your search. **watch for scammers-do not send them a code / money** *please get a post out on Craigslist / nextdoor / ring com asap then* **have your neighborhood check their security cameras and their property** ** ONLY TO BE DONE DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS- Do you have a wireless speaker you can put on loop? If you do record their favorite person calling for them calmly, banging food bowls together, crinkling a snack bag, jangling a favorite toy, the microwave going off, popcorn popping, other pets, any familiar sound to them. If you are able please get their cage out where they might see it. Please shut off the bluetooth when it gets dark out** **Be sure to put lots of fliers in heavily populated areas i.e. SCHOOLS! stores, bus stops, parks. Lots of humans mean help** ***Put posters of your missing Bird in your house windows, front yard, on your vehicles*** ****to get the word out even more, when it's dark out and you can no longer search, you can also **Google map** your address to see what businesses there are locally. ANY business i.e. restaurants, tattoo places, salons, bars, churches etc. zoom in and out on the map to see these places. 1. Click on any to see if they have a website, if they do go there, use the "contact us" options first to notify them of your lost/found Bird. 2. If there isn't a website or "contact us" option see if they have a Facebook group/page/profile, if they do: Use the "message" option first, if they don't have a "message" option try to join the group to post directly on their FB page.**FaceBook** search for your town/city/county/area for local FB pages/groups ie MEDIA, COMMUNITY, Mom groups, for sale-garage sale, vets, shelters, rescues, whatever pages/groups that come up.***ALSO join local Bird watching groups*****With the strict rules on FB now, try not to join a lot of groups at once. Trying to join to many groups at once will land you in FB jail, if you can get your family & friends who have a FB profile to help you do this** **Fliers which can be placed anywhere **except** IN a mailbox, fliers can also be emailed to Staples, Office Max etc. to have them print it out in bulk** ***PLEASE CHECK WITH LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTERS / VETS & FILE A MISSING PET REPORT***
