I think I found the pup in this picture at 5:30 in the morning two days ago brought her to Blue Pearl pet hospital. She is at Pinellas County Animal Services now

Pam Walker Ambrose Sorry for the late reply- I tried to help, but the dog was very nervous and ended up running away. There were two other people following in that direction with flashlights who I assume are the caretakers, but in case not, I posted here as well

You can't find a new home for 90 days and must do a diligent search for owners. Pets can get out at times, mistakes happen and it doesn't always mean it's a bad home. Thank you for caring about this the pet or pets. Can you take to a vet so they can check for a microchip? It's free. Please make sure they scan the whole body as chips can move. Also, post on Pawboost .com, nextdoor .com and Lost and Found Pets of (the county you're in) County on Facebook. Send an email to the local Humane Society and local shelters too so they know if someone calls. Also, petco lost and found. Please get photos and vet info to verify ownership. I take a photo of their license too.. any owner wouldn't mind that. https://lostdogsofamerica.org/how-to-trace-dead-end-microchips-and-tag-information-on-found-pets/ https://www.preventivevet.com/dogs/how-to-update-your-pets-microchip Florida Statute 705.104 Real and personal property - lost or abandoned property, pets included. (1) Title to lost or abandoned property is hereby vested in the finder upon the expiration of the 90-day custodial time period specified in s. 705.103(2)(b), provided the notice requirements of s. 705.103 have been met, unless the rightful owner or a lienholder claims the property within that time.
