Put your clothes outside as a scent. Have neighbors check cellars sheds garages and vehicles. They get trapped. Look under porches and sheds etc. Have a Heart trap with tuna. Cover trap with blanket and watch trap. Look at night often with flashlight. Check attics drawers and in trees 🌲. Culverts. Flyers everywhere. Check town authorities and vets. Look at lost and found pet sites shelters in case brought in. Craigslist too. Get kids you know to help look. Check behind walls and insulation. Abandoned buildings. Leave the door open for cat or window. Can police help?

I left my blanket outside the door my Tigger escaped from. We called his name, walked our road in tbe wee hours of morning, left up flyers on our road, asked neighbors for access to walk around and look for him. Two weeks to the day he left, he returned. Terrified and covered in ticks, but alive and ok. Prayers for your cat to return very soon and safe.

If he is an indoor cat, he is probably hanging out close by. Talk to neighbors. Sometimes if you leave the door or window they likely escaped from open a little, they will walk back in. You can also use a trap. Traps must be monitored frequently in the hot temperatures

Was he a indoor cat that got out? If so leave the door open enouyfor him to come back in. He might be following a female in heat ! Cats that were fixed still follow they just cant procreate praying he will be home soon

Humane trap and camera are key, plus leaving a door slightly ajar at night for reentry
