~~~Give a copy of the picture with information to the mailman in the area… They encounter many people & situation… Put a sign with information & picture in your front yard if you can & @ stop signs… For found animals Please take him to check for a microchip it’s free @ any Vet,Pet store etc. … Always get your animal microchipped, it gives a better chance of being reunited… There is always the possibility that a neighbor may have taken your “Fur~Baby” in thinking it was abandoned… Report any animal missing or found to your local dog pound… PetCo has free software that uses photo recognition to match your photo to photos from rescues and shelters.

Suwannee Kurin I was just thinking the same thing. Going back to the owner might be a death sentence. Check first please but not sure how you can keep the dog away from them even if they aren't good to him.

The owner won’t come forward, poor baby was abandoned. If they come forward they shouldn’t get the dog back. Hope you find a good home for him.
