She disappeared on the evening of a storm so might be in a barn or shed. Or she could have gotten caught in an animal trap

There is a kitty at KC Pet Project that looks very similar to your cat. She is listed here on PawBoost under “found cats”.

If normally an indoor cat, then kitty is likely hiding real close to home. They tend to freeze in place and may not come out if you call their name. Use a flashlight to look in, under, behind all dark spaces so that their eyes glow. Check inside the house as well just in case. Look up in trees in case kitty climbed up. Put some of your dirty laundry and the cat’s bedding outside for the scent. Leave a door cracked open so they can get back inside. Set up trail cameras outside and use a humane trap. Hang LOST signs in your area. Ask neighbors to check garages and sheds. Here is a video with other important tips. https://fb.watch/oGmo2RIna6/?mibextid=v7YzmG

Hope Hutchison I'm a bit confused. I read this as saying that I should take the fish out at dusk but bring it in so that it's not out overnight. Is that correct? And thanks for the info!

Try putting your kitty dirty litter box outside or something that smells like your kitty so he can smell her way home. If you have a garage try leaving it cracked open enough for the kitty to come inside. Also try putting a smelly can of tuna or cat food outside. Cats hide in bushes, under decks, under vehicles and in sewers when they are scared. If you go out at night and shine a flashlight, your cats eyes will glow when you shine it in his eyes. Let your neighbors know your kitty is missing incase they see the kitty. **Also check local shelters daily!!!! I hope you find your kitty soon. 💜🐾
