Here are some tips for finding kitty: Go out early morning with a flash light, cup of dry food and or treats, shake cup calling their name. Use flash light to look for eye refraction under cars, bushes and dark places to hide. Use food or treats to lure kitty out. Use a towel or jacket to wrap kitty up to bring home in so as not to get scratched or bitten in panic mode. Early morning is quiet, so listen for a faint meow. They normally will remain silent even if you are right next to them. Cats instict to survive. You may have to do this for awhile to find kitty. Check crawl spaces, garages, neighbors sheds, etc. They run in and hide there. Also try looking at feeding time. Hunger will lure them out. Took me over 30 days to get mine back. He was hiding under my neighbors house crawl space. Then it took me 6 more days to catch him with food. He has never left since then. Do not give up. They are great at hiding. They generally go about 2 blocks away unless chased farther away. Check with neighbors too. Extra eyes looking out will help. On the darker side, for closure, if it was a coyote, they consume it within 2 houses of where they catch it. They generally leave parts behind. Walk around looking for evidence of a . Ask gardeners or neighbors of they saw any remains too. Closure is part of this journey. Hopefully kitty is just spooked and around the property hiding. Good luck.
