Found this cat... Walking weird at first but seems better now ... Super friendly.. I will try to keep it overnight but I have 2 cats so I will have to keep it in kennel..

Christina Savage hopefully there are some rescue people in this group that see your post and if they live close enough, maybe they could come and scan kitty. Do you have a room where you could put this cat separate from the rest of your home? then he could be out of his cage

Kathi Ruble I'm not sure why it was walking weird . Good idea about chip scanning.. I have never dealt with them before, I would love to do so as I don't want to keep it caged up much longer but I don't have a vehicle , just got done at work .. but don't mind getting cat in ASAP... Maybe mobile chip scanner ppl?? Lol is that a thing do u know? Thank u for ur help!

If you take kitty in a carrier for safe travel to any veterinary office, they will scan for a microchip for free. Hopefully this Cat has one with updated contact info. Do you think it was walking weird because maybe it was dehydrated and/or hungry?
