Tara Jean Teate thank you for having her spayed and microchipped ❤️ Be sure to contact the chip company and tell them that she's missing. Also make sure your contact info is up-to-date on their website. If you haven't already, put up flyers everywhere as many people aren't on social media. Give flyers to every vet clinic, rescue, and shelter in the area in case she turns up. Ask your neighbors to check their cameras, garages, sheds, and crawlspaces. Look up in trees in case she was chased. Go out in the wee hours with a flashlight and look for glowing eyes. Call her in a regular voice (not panicked) and gently shake a treat bag if she likes that kind of stuff. Put her beds/blankets and some of your dirty clothes on your porch(es) and around the perimeter of your yard. When she comes home, please consider building or buying a catio (some people have bought pre-made chicken coops and "attached" them to their houses with kitty access through a window); or, if your yard is fenced in, consider putting up cat-fencing or coyote rollers on top of the fence to keep her in the yard (both can be DIY). Beverly Fahema DuPuy Ernest yes, chipped and spayed. She prefers outdoors, adventures during day but always returns home around dinner time. I call her each night if she's out and she returns within 15 or 30 mins.

Is she spayed? Microchipped? Indoor only, or indoor/outdoor?

Post on Nextdoor and look for her after dark with a flashlight. Her eyes will glow. If you get her back, please consider indoors-only. Outdoors isn't safe.
