Message from Owner

Bertie is a very sweet cat and we miss him. Could you please check your s and any garden/outdoor buildings, and set him free if uninjured. Please inform us if you see him. He has medical conditions and needs to come back as soon as possible.

Please follow this advice asap really hope your cat comes home soon safe and sound x Try to search by thinking of your home as centre of a circle and call your cat from the edges. Call, listen carefully, rattle treats etc, then move slowly towards home, stop, repeat, and do this several times until you're home. This could guide your cat back in the right direction. Take a strong torch and check carefully under hedges etc. Door knock with leaflets during the day and check sheds etc, empty buildings yourself as your cat should come to you. ALWAYS CHECK SHEDS, BUSHES, GARDENS, YARDS ETC YOURSELF. Your cat may hide from others. ps only call on roads late night or early hours when it's safer for cats

Hang items of your unwashed clothing outside your home so he can pick up your scent Repeat every 2days.Call late at night and early mornings shaking the treats.Go out in your garden between 2am and 4am call listen and wait.Put posters up especially on your outdoor bin and in car window.Leaflet drop in your area and physically ask and go with neighbours to check their sheds and garages.Phone local vets.Good luck

Think like a cat. Back gardens are their roads and highways. Remember ‘Carbonel’. Puss may be locked in somewhere and not everyone sees Facebook. Please put leaflets through letterboxes, on your block and the one opposite, with a photo and a mobile number, asking people to check their sheds and outbuildings. The WHOLE BLOCK. Many people who work full time and drive do not walk past lampposts and see posters, so leaflets are best and have a greater reach. A mobile number lm n is excellent because people can text you to say ‘Puss was in my garden at No 14 last night’. Good luck!
