Message from Owner

Krown is very friendly and usually comes when called - especially with treats. He's more than just a cat to me. I've raised him since birth, and brought him to the USA with me 6 years ago. We live near a green belt, so I am aware of the the possibilities. If you see him - Please help us bring our son. Any information helps! $ REWARD FOR SAFE RETURN $

Irene EStav Jackson I believe he's a male because he tried to spray his scent in the yard.

I was at Petco today Wed 3/4/26. There's a very fluffy cat there that looks similar to your cat. I didn't read the information about the cat, so I don't know if it was M or F.

Bump, and shared with prayers! And now for our Spanish language algorithm booster PSA message! Copy and Paste this to help them out. Let's leave longer comments, no emojis and begin each sentence with a capital letter like you're supposed to so we can push that algorithm. Those are the comments that are best for them. It's worth it for the little angels. Doesn't even have to be related to the video, just a few sentences with random words, a story or a copy and paste comment. Let's do as much as we can for them. ❤️I walked into the shelter last Tuesday with a box of old towels I was donating and walked out carrying a soul that had been overlooked and waiting far too long. This tortoises kitten had been passed over seventeen times. The card on her cage explained why. Special needs. Wobbly. Neurological condition. Requires extra care. But when I looked at her all I saw was a tiny creature who just wanted someone to stay. The volunteer told me she'd been there since she was four weeks old, watching people choose her siblings one by one until she was the only one left. She has cerebellar hypoplasia which means she walks like she's on a boat in a storm, falls over when she tries to run, can't quite land her jumps. I wasn't planning on adopting. I'd just started selling some handmade cat towers on Tedooo app to supplement my income after my hours got cut at work. Taking on a special needs kitten wasn't part of the plan. But then I opened her cage door. She didn't run or hide, just wobbled over to me and fell against my hand. Looked up at me with those massive eyes like she was asking if I could be the one who didn't walk away. Something inside me whispered that she's not broken, she's just been without enough love for too long. So I stayed. Sat on that shelter floor for an hour just holding her while she purred against my chest like she'd been saving that sound for someone who would finally hear it. That's when the worker took these photos. Not a rescue. A reunion between two hearts that didn't even know they were lost until they found each other. Now this wobbly girl climbs everything in my apartment even though it takes her three tries. Sleeps on my pillow. Follows me room to room like a shadow stitched in determination. I need help naming her though, no food names please. I bought her a custom padded cat tree from another seller on Tedooo app because regular ones are too hard for her to navigate safely. The broken souls create the strongest bondsThe morning sun slants through the window and lands right on his favorite spot. That's where you'll find Latte most days, curled in that warm square of light, pretending to nap. But if you watch closely, you'll see his ears twitch every time the front door opens. He's almost four years old now. Almost four, and for three years and seven months of those four years, he's been waiting. Before all this waiting, there was cold. There was the mean streets of New York, where he was just a tiny thing, all alone, learning fast that the world doesn't stop for little cats. No mama to keep him warm. No safe place to hide. Just hunger and noise and feet that never stopped moving. Then someone found him. Someone brought him here, to this shelter where it's warm and the food comes every day. He thought maybe his luck had turned. He's still waiting for it to turn. Three years and seven months of watching families walk past his room. Three years and seven months of seeing the door swing open with laughter and swing shut with silence, and none of it ever for him. He's watched kittens come and go. He's watched cats half his age find homes in a week. And still, he waits. The thing is, Latte has learned something he should never have had to learn. He's learned that people don't really see him. To them, he's just another black cat in another cage, one face in a sea of faces that all blur together. He's learned to expect nothing. Because expecting something only makes it hurt more when the door closes and you're still there. These days, when people come by, he doesn't run to the front anymore. He doesn't press his face against the glass or purr hopefully. He just stays in his sunny spot, or sometimes he quietly slips under the bed where nobody can see him. It's easier that way. You can't be disappointed if you never let yourself hope. But here's what nobody sees: underneath all that quiet resignation is a cat with so much love to give. He's come so far from that scared little street kitten. He's gentle. He's sweet. He just needs someone patient enough to wait for him to come out from under that bed. He was somebody's baby once, even if nobody claimed him. He never got to know what it feels like to be cherished. He's been saving up all his purrs for three and a half years, just waiting for someone to come home. The sun is still warming his spot. The door still opens and closes. But it doesn't have to be this way forever. You know what to do.

Larry Trimble thank you Larry! He is fixed, but for some reason still wants to compete to be the boss. I'd really appreciate a picture and a heads up if you see him again. Thanks again.
