Then look through all of the pictures to see if you're beautiful dog has already been found. I'll post this information. If you have any more information you can post it in that group also. There is another place to post that is free and we get good results and that is PawBoost!!! They ask you for the picture, the breed, zip code, and any other identifying marks like a collar, is the dog chipped and so on. That is a nationwide group and reaches more people. I recommend posting there as well as the group above. In both instances your dog's picture and information will stay there. Please also post on Facebook and Instagram in the Lost and Found Pets of Baltimore, or whatever county you are living in and give all the information again. You want all the exposure possible. The sooner you do all that the sooner hopefully your dog will be found on returned. I pray your pet is returned very soon. 🐾🙏🏻🐾

Check to see if he/she is microchipped. Petsmart and any vet can scan. Check with the mail man/lady if they recognize the pet. Google Petcolove.org They are linked to all the shelters. Petco Love created Petco Love Lost as a national lost and found database that uses image-recognition technology to help find lost pets. In the county call BCAS @ 410-887-7297, if in the city contact BARCS @ 410-396-4695 or SPCA @ 410-235-8826. If in Harford County contact the Humane Society of Harford Cnty @ 410-836-1090 or Harfordshelter.org. located at 2208 Connolly Road, Fallston, MD, 21047. Thanks for keeping him/her safe.

Check for chip. Have potential owner show proof of ownership, giving identifying information including vet records, pictures, etc. Please be very careful. There are some bad people out there who will try to fool you. They love animals for breeding, ransom or for sadistic purposes such as bait in dog fighting rings (yes, they do sadly exist), target practice, torture. A “free animal” is an easy target. PLEASE be very careful if you cannot contain. Do not just give to anyone who may convince you will take care of.
