Please go out at night after traffic noise has down, shine flash light under bushes and things cat can hide under and also in trees. Check out any green spots looking back at you. Call cat and wait for a meow back. CRITICAL INCASE CAT IS TRAPPED; start from where cat went missing and workout for a radius of 2 miles, knock on doors and ask in person if they will check sheds, garages, window wells, and other outside buildings for cat. ALSO, put cats bed or an old pair of your tennis shoes to help cat know where your porch is. NOT, a litter box that will attract other animals that may keep your cat away. Scared cats usually don't travel far from where they go missing and will wait for YOU to come find them. Also stop by local shelters and rescues everyother day to see if cat has been. turned in. GOOD LUCK

Search at night with a flashlight (eyes will glow) up in trees and inside and under things on your property and up to three or four houses away. Cats normally stay pretty close to home. You can put something with the smell of the cat, or the scent of home, out on the porch. Put up missing cat posters, check with your neighbors, post on all local social media groups, and check with animal control every week. Leave your garage door up enough to allow the cat entry. You can also try searching early morning, before dawn, calling his/her name and carrying and open can of tuna or cat food. Hunger sometimes lures them out of hiding. Don't forget to check places like crawl spaces, garages, and sheds.
