Batman is goes out frequently. We can’t keep him in. The stinker hides and waits until one of us opens a door and then bolts. But he is pretty savvy and always comes and typically stays close by. Last night he didn’t. We know the reality of the situation is he was likely taken by coyotes. But I’m holding out hope that he is hiding somewhere or has gotten inside someone’s grge and can’t get out.

To parents of lost pets: Beware of scammers who will comment with links for "lost" pets services. And they will CALL or MESSAGE you also. Do not fall for their scams. Also, they call using what seems like legit shelter number saying pet needs surgery/help. Hang up and call shelter directly.

Paula Whitman thank you. We are devastated. He is more people/dog like than most cats. Just has this knowingness about him and super duper lovable with each member in our family. But he has that hunting instinct and keeping him inside is impossible. The one time we did manage to keep him inside it lasted 2 weeks and he ended up with a blockage in his urinary tract… and I think it was because he was mad that he couldn’t go outside to pee.

Also, thanks for the tip reporting him missing on there. They made a poster for us with the information, which makes it super easy to get those out.
