thank you for saying that. I painted a box to put it in and buried it beside my dog that passed in November. I knew it was a long shot by the way it was acting later last night but I still tried to have hope.

Dj-Alaina Fordyce You tried your best. Parakeets can be pretty fragile and go into shock easily.

Update: Unfortunately the bird didn’t make it. II brought it inside, gave it the proper food and fresh water, and a place to rest until I would be able to bring it somewhere today. I had high hopes for it, as it was eating and drinking last night when I offered it food. Unfortunately this morning the bird was extremely lethargic, before shortly passing away. Its tag number is A30339 in case anyone comes up looking for it. I wish more could have been done, but it had a warm place to stay with food and water and a safe place to rest before passing. I can’t figure out how to update the post on this facebook page to say it has passed so I’m just commenting it here.
