I saw a Post this morning someone found a small dog in Morgan County looks a lot like this one. Hair is longer but it would be after a period of time.

I don't know if this will help but a what looks like a small dog this color was laying on the side of the road in the ditch area just before King Lane I really hope it's not my heart goes out to you.
