Long hair female black cat with yellow eyes and a notched right ear (from injury when she was young not from being fixed).

Message from Owner

Gigi slipped out the front door and has been on the run since Sep 19th, but has been spotted by many neighbors in the area going between wooded areas. She is a shy girl and stays low when running so please don’t try to chase. She is fixed, chipped (but her collar may have come off by now), and has her claws. Please contact with any sightings as soon as possible thank you so much.

Set a trap in the areas she's been seen.

Awww, she's beautiful. If she's hanging out in the wooded area, and since she has been gone for ten days, I would recommend setting a humane trap. I believe you can rent one from Humane Ohio on Alexis Road in Sylvania. Starting now each day in late afternoon/early evening until she's back home, put canned tuna/fishy canned cat food outside your door and watch for her. The fishy food is important because they can smell it from farther away and hopefully she will come back around from wherever she is. When you set the humane trap, put the fishy food in the trap. The trap and fishy food is how I finally got my cat back when he was lost last summer. Also put fresh water and something with her scent on it outside your door. Put flyers up in the area. Post on Sylvania/Toledo Lost and Found Pet page and Toledo and Surrounding Area Lost and Found Pet page to get the word out. Sending prayers for sweet Gigi to be safe and home very soon. Don't give up!!
