Why, oh, why was this sweet old boy out by himself??? Poor thing. Notify Nebraska Humane Society immediately and check there every day in person to see if he is there. Post on Lost Pets of Omaha Area for more readers and services. Hopefully, he is microchipped and neutered. Put owner’s dirty clothes in yard and in garage with water and bed. Leave door open enough he can get in. If no garage put items in carrier or kennel near house door he uses. Check often. Search in, under, and behind every possible place he could be hiding , stuck or hurt, Ask neighbors’ permission to search their yards…sheds, garages, decks, window wells, holes, bushes, parked vehicles, gutters, huddled next to a building, etc. Walk area lost with his favored/treat or try chix nuggets, burgers, hotdogs. Call his name in a calm, friendly voice while searching. And please, never let him be outside without you.
