One of my cat was lost forever a month. I made flyers with his picture and info and our info, and went door to door in our neighborhood. I checked the veterinarian offices around us and asked if I could hang up a flyer. Checked in person at the spca , and asked petsmart if I could hang up a flyer . I got a cat trap cage twice and left it near outhouse in the woods ,we had back then, behind our house. After a month after my daily walks around the neighborhood looking for him , one neighbor stopped me and told me he saw a white cat around an abandoned building in our area. Got the trap cage from the spca ,put catfood in left it by that house and the next morning when I checked my baby was sitting in it. Very light ,,he list a lot of weight ,but otherwise ok. He was hard of hearing or even deaf, we could not find that our. So don't lose hope.
