Sherman's Owner Says

Thank you everyone for looking at my post and spreading the word; for your advice and words of encouragement as well as your thoughts, prayers and good vibes for his decision to return home (safely). I went out this morning at 5 am to look for him and as I started down my drive I heard him meowing. He was sitting in my kitty-corner back neighbor’s yard 5’ from our yard and came right to me when I went over to get him. Thank you again!!!

Charles Michaelson Don't just make blank comments on a lost pet page. These people are missing their cat. I adopted a front declawed cat but I am against declawing, as well.

Hope u find your kitty❤️ Put food near your door. Place a baby monitor and/or home security camera near the food so you can hear/see when your cat is there eating and go and get him/her. Check MADACC and other humane societies. Post on Lost Cats of Wisconsin. Keep checking each day! Check under bushes and other places in your yard and neighborhood to see if he is hiding there. Cats become scared and won't come when called. Don't give up. People find their cats months later. My friend found their cat 3 months after it got lost. It was hiding under a bush in the neighborhood, not coming when called and acting feral… very scared! Prayers! Hope u find your kitty❤️ Put food near your door. Nicki Kroll I don't care who did it. I judge the fact that declawing is still being done. And don't tell me what I can judge anyway. Who the are you?

Charles Michaelson You don't know that his current owners declawed him, do you? He may have been adopted that way. My niece adopted two littermates who had been declawed that way. I adopted my black cat who had been front declawed as a kitten, when he was 6. Don't judge if you don't know.

I don't support the fact he was basically mutilated by declawing, taking away his natural defenses. But I do hope he's found quickly and safe 🙏

I've been through this few times. I had to go out during quiet times of the night and early morning with a flashlight and his favorite treats to shake and call fir him softly. I've crawl into crawl spaces and found one there hiding behind cinder blocks. I to actually pick him up. He would not come to me. His sister would both times. Another was watching us looking for her hiding under a neighbor's car. Another was under a low deck. Another was in some bushes again just watching us, not a perp. My flashlight caught her eyes.
