Our sweet cat Doug has gone missing. He had on a blue collar with a bell and AirTag but unfortunately the AirTag isn’t updating. While we are devastatingly assuming the worst, I wanted to share in case he’s out there somewhere. He’s extremely friendly and I wouldn’t be surprised if he approached a stranger and made himself at . He’s adventurous, has the sweetest little chirp and is so patient with my 1.5 year old. We miss him dearly and my son keeps walking around saying Doug looking for him 😭💔

Go outside NOW, at NIGHT with FOOD and call and look for him!!!!! This is how I FOUND MY CAT after a week!!!! I was only looking during the day with no luck, then, I learned look AT NIGHT and IT WORKED!!!!!! I FOUND HER the FIRST NIGHT I LOOKED FOR HER!!!!! She was CLOSE BY hiding in the storm drain next to my house!!!! TUNA got her attention and she came out!!!! DOUG is CLOSE BY hiding under bushes, in a storm drain, under a car, up a tree, in a neighbors yard or on their porch etc. They usually don't go farther than 5 houses from their home!!!!! He is in hiding because he doesn't know what to do!!!! Also, check with neighbors to be sure he isn't trapped in a garage, shed, etc. Put your dirty socks / laundry or something with your scent on it outside so he can smell it and find you!!!! Many have seen their cats on their doorbell cameras at 3am - 5am as it is QUIET and they feel safe to come out of hiding! Go outside at this time as well with FOOD and shake his bowl LOUDLY but call SOFTLY as you walk around looking and calling for him!!!! DO NOT GIVE UP!!!!! He is CLOSE BY - he is scared and hiding so it is up to you to find him!!!!! KEEP AT IT and you have a GOOD CHANCE of finding him!!!! I FOUND MINE after a week!!!!❤
