Mommycat is Missing in West Covina, CA

Description

Brown and White with Black stripes. She has a Black fluffy tail and and a Black spot on her left back leg. Her eyes are green and her nose is pink with a few black freckles. Her nose bridge is pink as well.

Hi all, I’m posting to ask if anyone might remembering seeing this sweet cat around Yolanda Ct, Giano Ave, Veronica Ave, and Gemini St. within the last couple of months. I received a tip recently that she may have been yanked by a coyote around 6/15 - 6/19 near the June Ct and Giano St walkway. The tipper mentioned seeing a dark cat’s body and white legs dangling out from the mouth of a coyote while she tried to chase it down June Ct. She informed me that the coyote eventually dropped the cat’s head somewhere in the grass near the area and that the head had been sitting there for a couple of days. The tipper told me she couldn’t bear to look at the head to make out all of its features, and I couldn’t find other individuals to confirm whether the head’s characteristics resembled Mommycat… I was wondering if any of you happen to know anything about this or about any TNR/adoption efforts that might’ve been going on in the area. We still aren’t sure if what snagged her was a coyote or a person. She’s not the type of cat to wander around too far; she mostly hangs out near Yolanda Ct. Any information or possible sighting tips would be appreciated. We’d love to be able to get some closure on this 😔♥️ thank you.
