Message from Owner

Benny escaped our at about 4am on Starpoint St. wearing a collar with location tracker. We found his collar at 7am a few hses down from us, near Saddleback Ct. We saw a little bit of his fur next to the collar in the grass so he may have been in a fight or struggle, and he may be injured. He’s very sweet but may be scared and not want to be picked up. He’s neutered and microchipped.

Time is of the essence. Cats don’t go far from home. Keep the door or window the kitty left from open 24/7 so they can return, usually very late at night. If unable to do that then crack your garage door open enough for her to get in, 24/7. Knock on neighbors doors with a picture letting them know she got out and ask them to keep an eye out, check Ring cameras for any sighting, post as many flyers as possible with kitty’s picture in your and surrounding neighborhoods. Walk late at night when it’s quiet with a flashlight, looking under every shrub for their shining eyes, softly call the kitty’s name and shake their food. Post on Ring, Nextdoor and check with shelters. Don’t give up. 💕

Is he indoor only and does he have a way back in on his own. Hurt or scared kitties will hide even from owners. Go out while it's dark with a flashlight calmly call him looking in small dark hiding places nearby the collar you found. While he might not answer the light will reflect off his eyes hurry
