Maria's Owner Says

Thank you so much for the shares, the help and tips and tricks. Using the tips to search every inch and small space around our hse is what did the trick. I found her hiding deep under some bushes. Sat with her for about 30 minutes until she finally came to me.

Leslie Brownthank you so much for all of these tips. This helped us find our girl. She is safe and sound and curled up in bed napping and happy to be home.

Laura Nelson’s Tips “Please go out at night after traffic noise has down, shine flash light under bushes and things cat can hide under and also in trees. Check out any green spots looking back at you. Call cat and wait for a meow back. Also start from where cat went missing for a radius of 2 miles, knock on doors and ask in person if they will check sheds, garages, window wells, and other outside buildings for cat. ALSO, put cats bed or an old pair of your tennis shoes to help cat know where your porch is. NOT, a litter box that will attract other animals that may keep your cat away. Scared cats usually don't travel far from where they go missing and will wait for YOU to come find them. Also stop by local shelters and rescues every other day to see if cat has been. turned in. GOOD LUCK” (and leave flyers door to door and at neighborhood businesses as they will allow. also put a poster in front of your home. You can find the county animal shelter and shelters in your area online. most shelters will host an online lost and found pets page. plus, if humanly possible do go to nearby shelters in person at least every other day. best wishes.)
