Report as found to local animal services where owners look first. Not everyone uses social media. Knock on doors near area where dog was found to see if anyone knows or owns this dog.

There is a general pet registry that should provide alternative contact...hopefully they did that. Contact neighborhood constable /Police / and vets to see if they know the pet or owner. If someone contacts you, have THEM tell YOU detail information to make sure pet goes to the right owner! Since the pup is chipped and when owner is found..have the owner meet you at a vet location to have the pet chip info updated and REGISTERED!(and fixed if not already done) and then returned to them at their expense..Most counties/cities is now in place..ALL pets must be chipped and registered! PLEASE be aware dogs stolen daily and used for dog fighting bait!😡 please keep this angel safe. CHECK NEIGHBORHOOD OR HOME CAMERAS IF THERE ARE ANY FOR POSSIBLE ACTIVITY!
