Thanks, Stephanie, I just did. At least from what I could get without going down the rabbit hole, people pay to boost posts of their missing pets. George has a very dedicated family with enough $ to do this. I'm sad that it hasn't borne fruit. I used to live on a busy corner, and one morning I saw a dead cat in the middle of the intersection, most likely hit by a car. An hour later animal control scooped it up and drove off. All I could think was that someone out there was missing their cat and had no idea it was dead. I don't know if animal control notifies owners of pets with collars and tags. They certainly can't with untagged animals. I wish they at least photographed the animals with a date the picture was taken. Sort of a pictorial morgue for missing pets. At least the owners would have closure.
