Buddy is Missing in City of Orange, NJ

Domestic shorthair. He's a gray tabby and about 8 years old. Distinguishing characteristics are that he has a deformed right ear from scratching it so much.

Good morning, everyone! I hope you're all faring well during these strange economic times. I have a favor to ask. Unfortunately our cat has gone missing. The strange thing is that he is an indoor-outdoor cat (not by choice!). Family members, as well as the neighbors, are constantly leaving the door open when they go to work, school, etc...that he finds his opportunity to escape. I'm really good at checking periodically every couple of hours around the hse outside and when I do call his name, he answers back and comes running from somewhere (possibly because he's done roaming and is hungry). This time, he hasn't and it's gotten me worried. I've researched online that cats can roam 200 meters from , sometimes up to 2 miles. I've been really trying to inspect the s around the neighborhood (without getting to close!) and call out his name, but no luck. He's been missing since March 18th. (I went outside around midnight like I usually do as well as in the morning and he wasn't back) Thank you for reading this far and have a great rest of your day! 😊
